People of God, blessings on you this day! May I remind you of some really good news? Today, I want to officially remind you that God is a Shelter for you. Not only for the Psalmist, but for you as well!

A shelter is defined as 1) refuge, 1a) from rain or storm, from danger

Wow… remember that when you are sheltered from a storm you have no idea how bad things really are outside. The plants are taking a beating. The animals are running for cover, but you are standing on the inside looking out in most cases. Our God is a shelter from all the invisible hail storms that try to do us harm. Our God is a mighty shelter.

Notice how personal the psalmist makes this. “Thou hast been a shelter FOR ME…” He acknowledged God’s personal care for him. That is important. I don’t need to know that God is able to be a shelter to the world only, but, I need to know that He is a shelter for me. And so do you!

Look further at this really good news! The psalmist goes on to say, He is a strong tower from the enemy! He is my place of elevation. He is the one that I can run to and see things from a higher perspective. He is my strong tower from the enemy. Hallelujah!

This means that as I run to him, I am sitting in an advantaged place. I can see the enemy coming from afar off. I am looking down on the full plans of my enemies. What a stark difference from this posture versus one who is in a pit and cannot see his enemy coming towards them. That is not the place for the authentic disciple of Jesus Christ. Thank God we have a strong tower that we can run to. A place of vision, a place to compile an intelligent response based on the revelation we are now experiencing.

Thank the Lord..! Be reminded this day that the Lord has done and is doing great things for you!

Jesus is Lord,

Mercy! …Mercy! …My mercy is available declares the Lord!

The New Testament Greek word for MERCY is (#G1653) [eleeo] pronounced [el-eh-eh'-o]

Thayer Bible Definition:

      1) to help one afflicted or seeking aid

      2) to bring help to the wretched

Have you ever been afflicted? Have you ever needed aid? How about this one: Do you remember a time in your life when by God’s standard you were considered wretched?

If so, then you’ve been a candidate for the Mercy of God!

(Lam 3:22) It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Consider this: If you or someone you know has ever needed mercy AND since God is full of mercy and abundant in goodness as the scripture declares, WHY are so many living without this reality dominating their lives? WHY are so many perishing without salvation? WHY do so many live so far beneath God’s intentions for their lives? This revelatory insight will spark a new found freedom in every area!

This video excerpt is from the Prophetic teaching series entitled The Profile of a Kingdom Connected Life… This nugget is from Part 6 entitled “A Kingdom Connected Life is a ‘Passive-Free’ Life!!"

Listen to this divine encounter Pastor Terry had with the Holy Spirit regarding the mercy of God. You will be strengthened. Don’t let this message stop with you. We say with all humility of heart. Pass it on, please. This is a word for the Body of Christ. God is so good to us all.

Okay, this is a very short verse. Read it again please…

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

I have a very strong, almost prophetic sense this morning that the people of God need to be reminded of the power of living with a “this day” mentality.

Jesus Himself was instructing His disciples to focus on THIS DAY when it comes to our entire life being sustained. Daily bread means a lot of things. The God of heaven surely wants us full and flourishing in every area of life. He desires that we fully receive our portion of our daily bread for every spiritual, mental, relational, emotional, social and financial desire we have in our heart. Give us this day our daily bread certainly transcends a request for natural food only. It has to do with everything relating to the sustenance of the entirety of our lives!

I want to say by the Spirit of God, to the one who is concerned about next week’s bills, please focus on this day. To the one questioning whether the business deal or interview will be successful—hello sir, hello ma’am, come back to the center and focus on this day. To not do so is a distraction campaign orchestrated by the very enemy of your soul.

Listen to this verse out of the message translation.

Matthew 6:34 (MSG) "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

People of God! Pull it in! Pull your thoughts in. Pull your anxiety in. Pull your speeding heart and mind in over what may or may not happen in the future. Pull your distractions OVER tomorrow and next week or next month in..! Come on people--exhale! Exhale in faith in Jesus the Christ! Don’t miss what He wants to show you, teach you or do for you today! Embrace this day and make the most of it!

Consider what is really happening with you right now. Are you okay? Did you wake up this morning? Can you still breathe? Well then, life is good. As I often tell our awesome church, “if there is breath, then there is hope”—Hallelujah! It’s not over till your breathing stops--- keep it moving in Jesus’ mighty name…LOL!

Be grateful for this day! Enjoy every breathing moment of it… it’s all you’ve got.

I could give you a number of examples like “whatsoever” you ask, it shall be given… or My God shall supply “all” your need according to His riches in glory…etc.

I mean come on people!! If 100% of the Body of Christ “really” embraced just these two scriptures as complete truth, what would the unsaved world think of the people of God? This would be a game changer!

Now having said this, let me take us one step higher. I am going to unveil a prophetic truth behind a particular verse that makes the above verses pale in comparison to the impact of this particular verse. If we will take this familiar verse that I am about to point out and hold on to it as an eternal truth, committing to never let go until we see it in our lives, our world will instantly change! Are you ready?

Read these few verses and I will make my point:

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Eph 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Eph 3:16  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph 3:18  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Isn’t it interesting that because of what I said earlier, you were more likely to look for some hidden truth or deep revelation? I am sure you did. And in these 7 verses, there are a few of the “almost too good to be true” kind of statements.

Okay, although you may see your own insight, here is the one I want to share.

Please. Read verse 19 again slowly.

Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Can you imagine!!! According to the word of God, it IS possible for you and I to walk in, experience, and live from a place of having “ALL” the fullness of God!! My JESUS! It makes me want to shout Grace and Glory just thinking about the possibility, or rather the reality of this great place! Why should you and I settle for anything less?

If you are like me, you want what God has made available. All of it. Let’s declare in it Jesus Name. I will settle for nothing less than all the fullness of God in every area of my life! To think that anyone on earth can have this as a working reality “seems” almost too good to be true. But thank God, that is why he followed up with verse 20!

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Finally, so how do we get it? Listen to the first part of that verse.

Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

In order for us to grab a hold of living in a place where the fullness of God is operative in us, or to see Him do far above what we can ask or think—we must accept, understand and say yes to THE LOVE OF CHRIST! We must accept His love which we were just told PASSETH KNOWLEDGE. This will have to be embraced by faith. Intellect will never allow it to be received. This must be received through faith.

Hallelujah! God loves us enough to allow His fullness to flow to and through us.

My God. People of God, rejoice! Jesus reigns! Not your feelings, emotions or circumstances. We can have it! The fullness of His love, fullness of His joy, fullness of His peace. Wow! Lord, let it be so!

Enjoying Jesus,

This morning, while walking up my staircase, I heard the Spirit of God suddenly say to me “…You know I uphold all things!”

I thought to myself, ….Lord?? (I mean He spoke so clearly)— You see, it shocked me when I heard it. Then, He mercifully repeated it. “… I said ALL THINGS” “…It is I that uphold all that you see”

WOW! I rose up on my tip toes and began to rejoice…LOL! I began to rehearse both the promises and the present blessings of the Lord. I began to see my entire life, all of my many possessions, the grace on our ministry, and this Nation that I love so dearly…! I began to see all of it in a new light. It gets better day by day. It gets stronger day by day. Why? because it is being upheld (sustained) by the Word of His Power, not by me…! To Jesus be all the glory!

People of God, All things means ALL THINGS!!! What aspect of your life is left out of that word from the Lord?

Today, I want to remind you that the Living God, before whom we stand, is mighty in power. Glorious in strength. Listen! He is “beautiful for Situation” (Ps 48:2). What that means is whatever the situation is whether an obstacle or an opportunity, God is more than what you need!

Please allow me to shout this into your spirit…! ALL THINGS!!! He upholds ALL THINGS by the Word of His Power! You are not sustaining your life, your body, your job, business or ministry by the work of your hands or by your own intellect and wits. Nope. Whether you’ve realized it or not, it is God that has been watching over His Word to perform it (Jer 1:12).

As I have been instructed of late to recruit believers who will help me reintroduce Jesus to America, I find that the Holy Spirit is instructing me to remind the American Christian community of who and what we are connected to. Before we help open the eyes of this lost world, we must first have our eyes wide open to the glorious gospel!

We are not connected to a wimpy, soft spoken, fearful and easily intimidated King or Kingdom. In stark contrast, we are connected to a glorious kingdom with a King that makes us proud to be His servants! He is merciful, yet radical. He is compassionate, yet the judge of all the earth. His Name is Jesus and I adore Him!

The word of the Lord that has been coming forth from the pulpit of Victorious Life Church has been a game changer for many. As we understand The Profile of a Kingdom-Connected life, it makes our backs straighten, and our heads are lifted a bit higher each week!

It’s time to boldly identify with the Kingdom of God. By doing so, we connect with the following:

1) Righteousness 2) Peace 3) Joy in the Holy Ghost

Three additional attributes of a Kingdom connected life also include:

1) Power 2) Love 3) Soundness of Mind

Every believer should want these three things at work in their life. Think about it... More Power, more Love and more Soundness of mind!

Make no mistake about it. If we stay connected to the true vine, according to John 15:5, this is our portion.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If you want outstanding results every day of your life, stay connected to the vine. His strength becomes your strength. His life, flows into your life! Stay connected!

Check back soon, there is more to come..!

LOL! Seems kind of odd to me. However, since God says what He means and means what He says, then guess what?...I am laboring for only one thing! To enter that place of “Rest”!

The Holy Spirit through the writer of Hebrews makes the following statement:

Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Notice how the King James Version (KJV) records this very clearly:

There is a rest “to” the people of God! Not only is there a rest for us. But, we have more than that. We have an ongoing promise of a rest that is “sent to us.”

This is true both now and for all eternity! Divine rest gets deeper and more real the closer we come to having pure fellowship with Jesus, the Christ. The ultimate time of rest will come when we get to heaven. However, to find that place of progressive rest starting today comes with drawing nearer and nearer to the Lord every moment of our lives!

Let me encourage you today to make it your business to labor (work hard) to enter into that place of rest. I like to call it a place called grace! May you discover it in a greater way starting this very day! The day that the world considers “Labor Day”! Yeah, we’re gonna labor all right! We are going to labor to discover the glorious place of rest in Jesus!

Have a joy-filled day! Take the time to Laugh OUT Loud with friends today!!! That is my prayer.

Enjoying Jesus,

The first thing I want to point out is the phrase … outlasted 11 finalists. Please don’t miss that statement. This speaks to the providence of God in an amazing way. Only God knew exactly which words were coming up next, and had even one of those participants faltered on even one word earlier than they did, we would not have been given this merciful warning from the God who cares.

When I heard with my spirit the fact that the word “Laodicean” was the winning word for the 2009 National Spelling Bee, I knew that God was yet again, out His mercy speaking to His church. I declare that it is time for the Body of Christ to awaken herself from slumber and seduction. It’s time we shake ourselves like men of war eager to do battle. The hour of hibernation is long past!

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

The word Laodicea means "human rights" or "the rights of the people". Thus, this was a church governed by the will of the people, rather than the will of God.

Laodicea was located on an important trade route, about forty miles southeast of Philadelphia in the country we know today, as Turkey. It is said to have been named after Laodice, the wife of the Seleucid monarch, Antiochus II during the middle of the third century B.C. The prosperity and intellect of Laodicea was the forerunner to its downfall. The place was most industrious. (Laodicea was the capital of Phrygia.) Known for the production of fine black wool from the local sheep, a medical school, which produced a well-known eye medicine, called "Phrygian powder” and more, Laodicea was prosperous, but only from an external standpoint. Much like America is becoming today. We must remember that true prosperity is from the inside out. Period!

The parallel between America today and the church of Laodicea is heart wrenching. Although I serve as a Senior Pastor, international business consultant and whatever else, I am first and foremost an intercessor. Since Jesus ever lives to make intercession for the saints according to Hebrews 7:25, I know of nothing more important for me to do as a Christian leader.

The Laodicean church in Rev 3:14-22 is the picture of a church that has forgotten that Jesus is the King of Glory! They have forgotten that He is the faithful and only wise God.

The Laodicean church is the most heavily rebuked and deceived church in the history of the church age; however, it sees itself as "the best." It is the only church of the seven in which the entire church will be spewed out. i.e., rejected!

This church is described as lukewarm, indifferent, not concerned with what is right and wrong before the Lord. It has become a god unto itself. The church seems to want to play both sides and the middle. In today’s world, we would call it political correctness. The church has become seekers of peace instead of the wielders of a prophetic sword. The American church needs the sickle in her mouth sharpened once again! Pleasure has purchased her silence and this must not be. If we will simply do what the Word says and seek first the advancement of His kingdom, we can have it all. We can take part in having an eternal impact and we can experience abundance. This can only happen when the desire for impact remains more important than the desire for abundance.

The church must recapture its language. Words like trust, repent, obedience, submission, sin, and serve must be reclaimed by the people of God. Not just the leaders, but the people of God.

We must not personally allow the spirit of the Laodicean church to enter into our hearts. It is clearly the worst of all the seven churches, yet the most confident. They claim they are rich, increased with goods, and have need of nothing; however, God judges them to be wretched. Wow..! What a stark contrast in views. May the Lord have mercy on us all! The state of this Greek word wretchedness, (talaiporos pronounced tal-ah'ee-po-ros) which leads into the next descriptive means of “miserable in His sight” is the result of self deception. It comes from having backed down in ones stance of what truth is according to the Word of God. It comes from wavering on what Biblically sound doctrine is. This church has become miserable, because it has taken heed to the sound of the wind instead of the sound of the Spirit. They are poor in wisdom, in knowledge, in faith, and in the Word of God. They are not zealous for the truth, but are blind to their true condition and to Satan’s schemes. They think their condition is the opposite of what it really is. They gather teachers around them that say what their selfishness, emotions, and deceived hearts want to hear.

As one author on Parentalguide.com commented on the Laodicean church, consider the following: “They are unaware of their true spiritual condition. They are, sometimes, willingly ignorant. They are sometimes so deceived and blind that they do not even recognize that the letter to the church of the Laodicea’s is actually a letter to them. As a result, they do not seek to change or repent. It may be said, these are people that go to church, sing spiritual songs, pray to God, and then Monday through Saturday live as if Jesus does not exist. They behave as if they will never have to face the judgment.”

Hear the prophetic sound. Hear the love of God.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

#1.Make sure that you personally maintain a “hearing” ear!

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodicea’s write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

#2 As you walk before the Lord, be sure to live in a place of spiritual hotness. Stay on fire. Never cool down. Get close to Him and you are closer to the heat. The very fire of God.
