Let’s make a distinction between the calling and work of a “missionary” and the calling and work of a “disciple”.

Joh 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

Joh 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

Joh 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

Joh 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Joh 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Whatsoever He tells you, do it!

The goal of missions is to expand the influence of Christ in the earth. The Kingdom of God is about the Manifested influence of God – In Heaven, In the earth and IN you. It Starts on the inside of you and me.

*** When we say…Thy Kingdom come… (Matthew 6:10) Lord, may thy INFLUENCE COME.

What color is influence…

Luk 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

Luk 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom (____INFLUENCE__________) there shall be no end.

This is what makes the word so powerful.

Wherever the word of God goes—the INFLUENCE of God follows! He watches over His Word to Perform it! This is why World Missions is a must!
